Eyewear That’s Perfect for You
Choosing your next pair of glasses can be tricky, that is why we are here. Many people know when a pair of glasses doesn’t look good on them, but finding the pair that looks good, feels good and fits your personality can be difficult. Our opticians will help you find a pair of glasses that fits your face shape, prescription and personal style. The right frame and lenses makes wearing glasses enjoyable, and for some people that means more than one pair.
Remember when you were a kid and had one pair of shoes for everything? Imagine if you had to choose one pair of shoes for everything you do now. Would you choose to wear hiking shoes with your suit? Or would it be heels while you hike the foothills? You dress for the occasion; whether it is work, the gym, or a relaxing Saturday. Just like the rest of your wardrobe, your glasses should fit the occasion.
Our doctors take the time to understand your visual requirements for work, hobbies, sports, and leisure activities. A recent survey by Leibniz Research Centre found that 63% of people are unhappy with their lenses at the workplace. This is in large part because they do not have the correct lens for the job (like wearing your ski boots for a 5K run). At Artisan Optics we offer lenses designed specifically for the workplace. Not all work spaces are the same, which is why one lens is designed for someone who spends the day on the computer while another is designed for someone who is up and moving around the office while checking email on their phone. Having the right lenses in the right frame can relieve headaches, neck aches, eyestrain and fatigue. Our doctors and opticians will work with you to determine which lens best suits the visual demands of your work day.
Artisan Optics offers eyewear from around the world. With frame lines from France, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and here in the US, you are sure to find something that catches your eye. We will work with you to find eyewear that fits your style and the occasion. From polished and professional to colorful and unique, we can help find your next pair of glasses. The eyewear at Artisan Optics is handmade from high quality materials, such as titanium, acetanium, and more. This makes your next pair of glasses not only beautiful and lightweight, but also engineered for comfort and durability as well. With a constantly changing selection you never know what you will find the next time you stop in.
Eyecare For The Whole Family
Artisan Optics has an eye doctor for every member of your family. Whether you need a comprehensive eye examination, contact lens fitting, an emergency visit for an eye infection, one of our specialty services or interested in LASIK, Artisan Optics is for you. We have the latest equipment to diagnose and manage a wide range of vision conditions.
Our diagnostic imaging equipment includes:
Retinal Photography – Allows our doctors to photo-document a wide range of ocular conditions, including diabetic changes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and many other conditions.
Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) – The OCT provides real-time cross-sectional images and quantitative analysis of retinal features to optimize the diagnosis and management of retinal disease.
Visual Field Testing – Visual field, or side vision, testing is important in the management of glaucoma. It is also used to identify ocular changes that can be caused by certain medications.
Corneal Topography – Measuring the curvature of the cornea (the front surface of the eye) allows our doctors to fit specialty contact lenses, such as rigid gas permeable (RGP) and scleral lenses. Our doctors are also able to manage corneal conditions, such as keratoconus.
OrbScan and WaveScan – If you are considering LASIK we have the specialized instrumentation to provide a comprehensive, free of charge, LASIK screening.
Did you know?
Systemic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure) often affect the eyes. Anyone who has been diagnosed with these conditions needs to have a comprehensive eye examination at least once per year. This eye examination should include dilation and retinal photography. When a systemic condition begins to affect the eyes it is important that your doctor have diagnostic imaging equipment to monitor your eye health and the progression of the disease.
